Japanese Garden
Following on from the success of the Jungle Garden, this primary school in Bishops Stortford asked us to design a Japanese Garden in a small courtyard for the use of the children and teachers alike. The children were involved right from the start and provided us with some terrific ideas of how they wanted their garden to look and how they wanted to use the space.
We have incorporated a traditional Japanese bridge which the children were particularly keen to have along with Bonsai, Acers and typical Japanese materials. The result is a relaxing and calming space which has transformed this redundant courtyard whilst at the same time acting as a wonderful learning environment for the children.
