South Kensington
The brief for this project was to provide privacy and extra security and to completely screen the garden from the adjacent busy road. The owners live abroad and therefore a low maintenance garden was essential. The garden also needed to reflect the contemporary minimalist feel in the house.
There were many challenges imposed by the site and tight restrictions placed upon us by the local planning authority. However these difficulties were overcome and the result is a tranquil, cool and modern space.
The bespoke black planters cut a striking pose against the polished sandstone paving and the beautiful Yellow Ballau wood of the deck. The transformation is stunning.
